Correct Answers: Past Unreal Conditional
Check on the following answer keys to help correct your answers to the questions on p. 61.
- If Peter Deering had used alternative medical treatments, he might have felt better.
- If Cousins hadn't read extensively about alternative medicine, he might not have tried alternative treatments.
- Cousins might not have gotten better if he hadn't tried laugh therapy.
- If William had been a Christian Scientist, he wouldn't have given his daughter drugs when she was sick.
- If the teacher hadn't noticed Amy's dozing off in class, she wouldn't have called Amy's parents.
- If Cousins had liked his doctor's treatment plan, he wouldn't have developed his own laugh therapy treatment.

1217 In-Class Writing Task: Paraphrase + Summary

If you have to make up for today's in-class writing task,
please read the following instructions.
- Get yourself a blank sheet of paper (B5 or A4).
- Put down your name and date on the top of the paper.
- Write down "A. Paraphrase"
- Choose one passage from page 75-76.
- Read the passage and make sure you know what the passage is about.
- Rewrite/Paraphrase the passage in your own words under the title "A. Paraphrase" - Write down "B. Summary"
- Check on the site for the movie trailer of Eight Below.
